A device for continuous casting of tube blanks is known, comprising a metal reservoir, a siphon channel for feeding liquid metal, an electromagnetic coil, a water-cooled crystallizer, and a mechanism for drawing the blank 2. The disadvantage of the known method and device for continuous casting of billet is the impossibility of ensuring a constant level of metal in the crystallization zone, which leads to the thinning of the billet or its thickness variation and, consequently, to a deterioration in the quality of the obtained billet. The purpose of the invention is to improve the quality of the workpiece. This goal is achieved by the fact that, according to the method of non-continuous production of blanks, mainly tubular ones, including feeding the liquid metal into the mold, exposing it first to crystallization with a rotating magnetic field, re-cooling and continuous stretching of the resulting billet with a constant force, the liquid phase of the billet is subjected to secondary impact electromagnetic field in the area of the metal meniscus, and the siphon channel system and the mold - oscillation. In addition, the primary field is a field with a frequency of 5-15 Hz. The liquid metal in the siphon channel is heated. The secondary field is a 50 Hz field. Improving the quality of the cast billet is due to the creation of a deep meniscus, with the help of which it is possible to control the mass of the wall of the cast billet, as well as the message of the oscillatory movement of the system, resulting in healing of microcracks (crust breaks).
